Sustain the Mother Church.

Every gift reaches the work whole — Zeffy takes no fee.

Tithes and offerings support the liturgy, the building, and the outreach of hope, healing, and restoration. The cathedral’s giving rail runs through Zeffy, a zero-fee platform, so the whole of your gift arrives at the work it was given for.

The cathedral keeps a weekly Divine Liturgy and maintains a building raised in nineteen fifty-two, its sanctuary renovated in nineteen eighty-eight. The work of a Mother Church is not only its own congregation but the lineage it carries — the African Orthodox Church, founded in nineteen twenty-one out of Black ecclesial self-determination, and the Overtown heritage the cathedral holds as a surviving thread of a displaced neighborhood.

Your tithes and offerings meet the concrete costs of that keeping: the clergy’s vestments and the altar’s bread and wine, the building’s upkeep, the lights and the sound, the outreach that carries hope, healing, and restoration beyond the doors. There is no phone or email printed on this site, but the cathedral receives every gift through this rail, and every gift is accounted for.
